Booklist Cover

So, I wearily dragged myself from my nest this morning, dreading another day of painting woodland cuteness. But, to my amazement... Wes Adams (my oldest editor contact, the first to hire me freelance) sent me an email this morning showing me that my cover for Katherine Sturtvante's A True and Faithful Narrative made the Booklist publication. Yeah! That was a nice surprise. Now back to woodland cuteness.

On a side note: I HATE DHL. The address is written perfectly, yet somehow they still manage to goof it up. MAUDIT.

Nice Job!!!

Booklist, the magazine the New York Times calls "an acquisitions bible for public and school librarians nationwide," is the review journal of the American Library Association. It recommends works of fiction, nonfiction, children's books, reference books, and media to its 30,000 institutional and personal subscribers. In-house editors and contributing reviewers from around the country review more than 7,500 books each year, most before publication
